Should these men be chastised if the allegations are true? Absolutely. Sexual assault and harassment are about power. People who foist themselves onto the bodies of others should not be rewarded. They should be punished.
The outcry sort of falls on deaf ears however, since this country elected a man who admitted to attempting to sexually assault women to the highest office in the nation. And Alabama doesn't give a damn about Roy What's His Name being accused of preying upon underage girls decades ago.
Are we only horrified by sexual misconduct when it doesn't hurt our political interests?
