Bucket List-With Explanations

1. Shot a gun -Does a Nerf gun count? 

2. Gone on a blind date - Not really, but there were a few dates where I must have been blind to even say yes. 

3. Skipped school - No

4. Watched someone give birth -Does a mirror during your own labor count? 

5. Watched someone die -I saw a large/ big-boned squirrel fall out of a tree once, and it was weird.  How does a squirrel fall out of a tree?  Aren't they built for climbing? After he spasmed for a few seconds, he stopped moving.

6. Visited Canada -Quite a bit

7. Visited Hawaii -The Polynesian resort at WDW is the closest I've been to Hawaii.

8. Visited Carribbean -Lived there for six months and traveled there quite extensively.

9. Visited Europe -I've never been across the Atlantic Ocean. 

10. Visited Las Vegas - I've never been.

11. Visited Asia -I've never been.

12. Visited Africa -My DNA has been to Africa, but I have not.  How does that look?

13. Visited Florida - My family is from Florida, so I've been there quite a bit.

14. Visited Mexico -Visited Costa Maya on my honeymoon, but it was so tourist-centric

15. Visited L.A - I've never been to Los Angeles.  Maybe it will be an attraction one day at WDW.

16. Seen Niagra falls in person -Yes. Niagara Falls left me breathless.  In my mind, it was scientific proof that God was real.

17. Flown in a helicopter - Only in a flight simulator. 

18. Served on a jury - Never.  Stood in front of a lot of juries though.  Imagine that.

19. Cried yourself to sleep - More frequently than I care to admit.  The day ends, but troubles don't rest wth the sunset.

20. Recently colored with pencils -Three words: Adult coloring books. 

21. Sang karaoke - At my family reunion a few years ago.  No one was paying attention.

22. Paid for a meal with coins only -No.  That's just trifling and rude.

23. Made prank phone calls. -Tried it when I was 7 by dialing zero and clowning the operator.  I was shocked when she called back and told my mother abut my behavior.   How did she get my phone number?

24. Laughed so much you cried - Probably at one of those Brazilian scare tactics shows.  They go too far sometimes.  That Chucky one at the bus stop stands out in my mind as the last time I cried from laughing too hard.

25. Caught a snowflake on your tongue - Acid snowflakes? Nyet.

25. Had child(ren) - Gave birth to two...raising three ( it feels like that sometimes)

26. Had a pet - Dusty the Cat (taken away), Lyle the Cat (ran away), Lucky the Dog (re-homed), Flash the Cat (re-homed), Snickers (re-homed after he was implicated in an accident that resulted in a partial finger amputation), Max the Cat (passed away due to bladder issues), Gotham and Nala (returned to the store after a short stay because a child was diagnosed with cat allergies), Atlas the Dog (re-homed due to aggression issues)

27. Been skinny-dipping - Nope.

28. Abseiled down a building / cliff - This sounds dangerous, so I'm going to go with no.

29. Been downhill skiing - Yes.

30. Been water skiing -No.

31. Been camping in a tent-Never.  Would like to try.

32. Driven a motorcycle -Don't know how.

33. Been bungee-jumping -What shade of crazy do you think I am? Black people can get killed just taking out a wallet. What makes you think I'm going to strap a rubber band to my ankles and jump off a fixed structure several hundred feet in the air?  Nothing can go wrong with that...at all.  No.

34. Gone to a drive-in movie - Not that I remember.

35. Done something that could have killed you - There was this incident where I thought I was a genius and I tried to make a computer brain. (PAUSE) A length of cord from an old lamp was requisitioned, cut and shaved to expose the copper wire.  Said copper wires were wound around two screws in said computer brain (mostly the innards of an old tape recorder covered in aluminum foil).  The plug end was plugged into an outlet.  Sparks shot out. Circuit breaker tripped.  I did not die.  Mother only informed of this experiment gone wrong five years ago.

36. Rode an elephant -No.

37. Rode a camel - No. They spit and I'd end up on AFV.

38. Eaten just cookies or cake or ice cream for dinner - No.  Always desert.

39. Been on TV -I don't think so.

40. Been in newspapers -Yes

41. Stolen any traffic signs -Refuse to answer. I'm a lawyer.

42. Been in a car accident-Yes.

43. Stayed in Hospital - Yes.

44. Donated blood -Intentionally and accidentally (that was donated to the floor)

45. Had to pay a fine in the past 12 months -No

46. Gotten a piercing -Yes

47. Gotten a Tattoo -Thinking about it.

48. Driven an automatic car - Only

49. Ever owned your dream car -Not yet.

50. Been Married - Yes

51. Fell in love -Several times

52. Paid for a strangers meal -Good idea

53. Driven over 100mph -Please see number 33. 

54. Worked in a pub -No.

55. Been scuba diving - No

56. Walked on burning coals -Burning sands...😉

57. Eaten snails- Yes.  Look at that S car go!

58. Swam with dolphins-No.

59. Swam with Sharks -See answer to 53.

60. Held a snake -Child please...

61. Found a dead body -I did find the corpse of some fanged creature in my garden once.  I think the big ginger cat that lives on my street did it.

62. Lived on your own - Yes.

63. Performed on a stage - Yes.  But really all the world's a stage.

64. Stayed awake for more than 36 hours - On quite a few occasions.
